In this series, Windows of the World, I delve into my bicultural identity and the journeys that have defined my life. This series is a reflection of my travels between Mexico and the United States, as well as my adventures around the globe. Each painting is a window into the landscapes and experiences that have shaped who I am.
The first painting, Terlingua, captures the essence of a city in West Texas where the sky stretches endlessly. In this piece, I use soft clouds and gradient skies to create a sense of infinite space and tranquility. Through these paintings, I invite the viewer to see the world through my eyes and aim to convey the beauty and diversity of the places I have explored and some call home.
